Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind.
Our whole concept, action and urges are based on pleasure; and until one understands the nature and the structure of pleasure, there will always be fear - fear, not only in our relationships with each other, but fear of all life, the totality of existence. So without understanding pleasure, there can be no freedom from fear. We are not denying pleasure; we are not advocating a puritanical way of life, a suppression of pleasure, or a substitution for pleasure; or denying that thing that we call great satisfaction. We are examining it; and in examination there must be freedom from opinion; otherwise you can’t examine. You can’t say, “Well, how will I live if there is no pleasure?”. When you are certain that one cannot, or can, live without pleasure, you are already blocking all examination, and therefore all discovery; all understanding of something, understanding of the problem totally anew. We are examining pleasure; we are not condemning it. And without really, radically, seriously understanding that pleasure principle in man, as in the animal, we shall live within the borders of fear always - which is fairly obvious.
Anonymous asked: Thank you so much for everything you do on this blog! it really is an inspiration, its a lot to take in with all the information but you make me feel a lot better so thank you who ever you are.
No thank you and yeah it’s unbearable at times, but just remember you’re not alone.
I haven’t been on much because I’ve been dealing with a lot lately, but now I’m ready to do a lot more than ever. I want each of you to know that you have the potential to do amazing things if you have the will to do so. I know that sounds cliche, but it’s my honest truth. Free yourselves, no one else can give you your freedom but yourself. Don’t say that your free because it’s only words, when you say that your free it becomes an illusion. Illuminate the illusions. I’m learning a lot every single day, even at my darkest of times and let me tell you… I’ve been down there, I know how it feels to feel alone like you don’t belong. People say the world is fucked up, but it’s not. We make it fucked up and if we want to see change… we have to be it. I’ve always been there for the people in my life even if they weren’t there for me and yes it hurt at times but I gotta say that I’m getting stronger by the hour and I’m gonna continue to be there. If I could do it, you all can do it as well. Don’t be afraid of change, embrace it, learn from it. You all can do beautiful things, so just do it.
Peace, love and empathy.

We probably couldn’t even begin to imagine a life without timekeeping. We know the month, we know the year, we know the day of the week. There is a clock on our wall and the dashboard of our car. We have a schedule, a calendar, a time for this and a time for that. Yet all around us, timekeeping is ignored. Birds are never late, a dog never checks his watch and a deer doesn’t fret over passing birthdays. Man alone measures time, man alone chimes the hour and because of this man alone suffers a paralyzing fear that no other creature endures. A fear of time running out.
Native American confronts “anti-illegal immigration” protest
Everything in our country was owned by people that had no connection to our culture, by those who never had our interests at heart, they didn’t care about our survival or well being, they just wanted to turn a profit by raping our land, by exploiting our people, our industry and our resources.
They took everything we built and made it theirs. First by creating racism to justify slavery, building the capital for capitalism, and then when they gave us what they call liberty, everything we had was still owned by them.
Football today is far too much a sport for the few who can play it well; the rest of us, and too many of our children, get our exercise from climbing up the seats in the stadiums, or walking across the room to turn on our television sets.
—John F. Kennedy
Football, beer, and above all gambling, filled up the horizon of their minds. To keep them in control was not difficult.
“A revolution is coming - a revolution which will be peaceful if we are wise enough; compassionate if we care enough; successful if we are fortunate enough. But a revolution which is coming whether we will it or not. We can affect its character; we cannot alter its inevitability.” - Robert Francis Kennedy

In order to get sufficient cannon fodder to support the imperialism of the global corporations, step one is to instill a nationalist fervor in the child. The fact that you were born in a specific geographic location has NO effect on you as a human being, only as a “loyalist” to someone’s idea of conquest. Columbus was a slaver, they eliminated 99% of the native intelligent lifeforms, they stole oil, instilled dictators and jailed, tortured and killed hundreds of thousands in South America and in the East - in the name of PROFIT and they simply didn’t mention it…

Elementary School Girl Threatened With Arrest Over ‘Paper Gun’
A South Philadelphia elementary student was searched in front of classmates and threatened with arrest after she mistakenly brought a “paper gun” to school, yet another example of the hysteria sweeping America’s school system in the aftermath of the Sandy Hook massacre.
